Two octave riser in key of c made with granular synthesis from samples i got off this website :).

An edited audio file where i got the cry of a (presumably) crow - used adobe audition to use sound remover to remove background noise and then dereverb to make it a bit more clean and clear.

Sound i originally made to replace the roblox death sound #1i got real close to my mic for this.

Second failed attempt at creating a sawtooth wave in fourier domain using just c code. This time, i got the actual wave, it's just super aliased.

I got a weird story for this one! i took a machine sound from my grandpa's workshop, overloaded it with flanger so it didn't even sound like a machine anymore, got a little snippet of the sound, pitch shifted it up, and repeated it, eqed it, and added some reverb. (the machine didn't have anything do do with it btw. You can do this with any sound. ) hope you guys enjoy this sound. Feel free to use this anywhere you want. :).

The upload spree continues! this time i've got another sci-fi sound. The title says it all, folks. It can also be used for not only a robot malfunction sound effect, but a machine glitching sound perhaps. I made ti with a corrupt audio file. I got a part of it, and simply pitch shifted it down, and faded it out at the end.

We were having a small rainstorm, so i thought i'd go out and record the rain. As you can see, (or hear!), i got much more than that! this is the complete original audio, all unedited. It sounds as if the lightning struck at least three times! enjoy! (i know i do!).

One of the most haunting sounds that i have ever captured. I got on the bus one day and didn't notice anyone on there when i sat down, and then a few moments later, i started hearing this sound. I was confused as to what to do. Do i turn around and look at this laugh-er in the face? what would a person laughing like this do to me if i looked at them? how could a person even laugh like this? it doesn't sound physically possible. As more and more people got on the bus, i saw nobody looking in his direction either. Am i maybe imagining this sound? is there a tiny many laughing in my head?. Upon leaving the bus, i looked back and couldn't tell who must have made the sound, but regardless, it still literally shakes me a bit hearing this audio. . . . Recorded with an android phone and edited in audacity.

Finally, a month after i needed it for my last film, i got really good foley of a spectacular thunderstorm. Here's 10 min of the best part. I can't use it right now, but maybe others can. It contains steady, heavy rain with peals of thunder at various distances.

My adult cat was really wanting to be in on the recording, and got a little angry that i wouldn't hold him. You also get a brief jingle of his collar bell and loud exhalations of my breathing - i was trying not to laugh at his antics. I was holding my breath very close to the mic.

Something i accidentally got while messing around with voxal voice changer by nch software. It was a background noise of my mom closing a door, and i decided to put it in reverse and i couldn't help but notice that it sounded like a low "whoosh" transition. So i opened it in wavepad and added echo + reverb and voila.

It's a sound i got from a lost recovered wav file. It was a 24-bit file but i have imported it as a 16-bit one, the ruseulting sound is an interenstin non-uniform noise with a modulation to it. Could be a neat sound for broken electronics.

I recorded one hour of machine composition. I did not listen to it. I did not open the file in audacity. I told my fb fiends to give me a number between 0 and 57. I got 42 (what else). This sound is minute 42 to 45 from my one hour recording. The rest is deleted. Gone.

It was my turn to walk the dog and i was really up for it. As i walked a distance, i could see rain coming from miles away. I could also see that i wouldn't be able to make it home before it got to me, so the dog and i took shelter in a baseball dugout at a local park. I was doing some field recording and it so happen that when i was out and about we had hail storm so i recorded from the start to finish. Whew! almost got hit by a hail stone as big as a pingpong ball. Yes, it was that big my car has dent all over, not good aye!.

Had a patch. Changed speed, attack and delay time. Got this. A bubbly noisy landscape. At the end i dissconect the "main lfo". The one thats makes things advance. But beyond that i get sounds.

Created this sample using only audacity. I started off by generating a square wave chirp between 10000 and 20000 hz on a mono track, copied this created a stereo track and messed around with timestretching and low pass filtering until i got the desired sound.

One night while recording vocals it was really windy outside, and the wind slammed one of the doors in my house shot. The sound got caught by the mic and i liked it enough to use it as a snare sample for that same song i was recording vocals too. Hope you'll find a creative use for it!.

I got hold of an old sony dat machine (tcd-d10 pro) and noticed a very interesting sound when i opened the door to the cassette compartment. The sound was recorded with an olympus ls-14 and was slightly edited in wavosaur.
